The I-shaped drill bit is a widely used rock drilling bit in China, which is mainly connected in a conical form. It is used in conjunction with conical drill rods (commonly known as finished drill rods). In order to use the straight bit correctly and ensure its normal service life, the following points must be noted: 1. Ensure a good fit with the conical drill rod (with a consistent taper, the depth of the drill rod inserted into the drill hole must be greater than 25mm, and the head of the drill rod should not touch the bottom of the drill hole), otherwise the drill rod may be lost; Note: It is best to use the same manufacturer as the conical drill rod to ensure consistent taper and good fit. 2. When drilling holes, the rock drill should lower the air volume to reduce the damage to the drill bit caused by local high stress on the hard alloy sheet. When the drill bit is fully penetrated into the rock, the normal air volume can be used again; 3. For rocks that cause severe wear, slow drilling progress, and severe fragmentation of the I-shaped drill head, consideration should be given to replacing other alloy grade drill heads or using cross shaped or ball toothed drill heads, and timely written notification should be given to our company for timely handling.
